By Seattle, Washington is the location for the Fifth Annual Comprehensive Seminar on Wine Law in Washington: The Ins-and-Outs of Operating Wineries in the Current Regulatory, Legal, and Financial Environments on May 2, 2011. The conference, which will be held at the Seattle Hilton Hotel, will focus on the current legal regulatory environment for Washington state wineries, “including an overview of the changes made in Washington state legislation and regulations in wine law and financing over the last several years. There will also be a window on new insights gaining traction as a result of these changes and how they may impact issues in marketing and distribution.” (See Wine Law in Washington.) Issues include employment, labor, and immigration laws corresponding to the state’s wineries, “while also exploring better ways to exploit the revenue generating opportunities the industry has as Washington wines become increasingly recognized both nationally and internationally.” (Id.) The seminar is co-chaired by Vincent E. Bryan, III, Esq. and Michael T. Reynvaan, Esq.
